I used to live in San Francisco and for those two years, I only traveled by bike and public transportation. I often took the most direct routes straight up hill when I had the energy or was up for the challenge but I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I also had a very sophisticated topographical map in my head that gave me the long, complicated routes that afforded the most gradual ascent and avoided the crazy steep streets. This little fellow only uses that map because breathing is pretty difficult when you have a snout like that.
