THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE ART:

This is a cat who loves to play mind games. 

I lifted these words from the song Be Careful by the great Cardi B. 

When this cat says the phrase, it’s a bit manipulative and wily, but the song is much more sincere.

This song is wild! Cardi B sings about being in the throes of frustration with a relationship that is not good, and her anxious mind is spiraling because of it. 

It’s obviously not a healthy mind state to be in, but I think we can all relate to it to one degree or another. It’s great when artists decide to go deep into those kinds of dark parts of the mind for the sake of art. 

She describes the angry, vengeful, paranoid, storm that can overcome us and this line is actually one of the more generous, moderate moments. Cardi B is a genius.
