THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE ART:
When I lived in San Francisco, many years ago, my bike was how I got around. Riding up those hills was very challenging but it really did feel magical to get to the tops of those streets and see the beautiful city. I was thinking about that when I made this design.
One of my favorite things to do when I first moved there was to get to the top of those huge hills, on a summer day, put on the song Breathe, by Pink Floyd, in my headphones, and drift down without holding the handlebars. It felt like flying!
This is Certified Organic Intelligence Art! Everything about this print celebrates human creativity. It begins with a real person using good old-fashioned paper and pencil to create the entire piece. It’s then locally printed by a skilled artisan and carefully packaged by our team before being delivered to you. We sincerely thank you for your support!
